This class, part of our machine sewing skill builder series, takes you through the process of cutting fabric, sewing with nylon zippers, using fusible interfacing for structure, and creating a pouch with boxed corners.
We will provide interfacing, zippers, and needed tools. You will bring or purchase your own fabrics; 2 fat quarters of a woven fabric like quilting cotton, canvas or shirting are all that are needed! We also have machines you can borrow, though we encourage you to bring your own sewing machine if you have one for more practice.
This class is designed for teens and adults with knowledge of threading and sewing on a machine — equivalent to our Beginner Sewing class.
