Our friend Katelin Nole of Heavy Petal Dye/ Lightfoot Farms have a bountiful abundance of marigolds, and they’re bringing beautiful buckets full this Saturday!! This activity is perfect for anyone, especially this who don’t confider themself crafty. It’s done with only a needle, fishing line a couple of knots, and joyously vibrant marigold heads.
You’ll make a spectacular garland to decorate your home, first while fresh, then for as long as you’d like after they dry. Special bonus- marigolds make an amazing natural dye! And Katelin will be with us for many natural dye classes in the coming months!
$32 per garland includes the locally grown flowers from Lightfoot Farms! Adults, teens and kids who can sit still and use a sharp needle. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult to assist them.
