Learn to Knit! Jen Marquez Ginn, of Morel Fiber Arts, will patiently show you how to use a slip knot to cast on, make stitches, and and then bind off. You’ll knit along, and maybe make a smallish sample. This class is intended to help you get a feel for knitting, and will get you on your way!
Jen can share ways we can recover from mistakes, where we should look to find helpful online resources, & what project might be fun to try next. You will also be introduced to the idea of the right size needles for the right size yarn, and the best beginner- friendly yarn (light in color, wool or acrylic, & simply plied. If that doesn’t make sense it will after this class!)
You can bring your own materials, and/or they available for purchase at the shop, and we will help you shop our selection to get you set up! (under $15)
