We’ve been looking forward to this new class!
Elizabeth Martin, of Tiny Art Garage, invites you to relax and practice the unique art of Boro Patchwork, a beautiful technique of layering scrap fabric with simple running stitches or more ornate Sashiko stitches.
Elizabeth will show you how to create a swatch of layered fabric and make a small item like a book mark or coaster. She will also share suggestions for your new Boro skills, including how to build 3 dimensional objects like a small bowl or coffee cup sleeve.
You can bring your own sewing kit or buy one at the shop ($10 ), or borrow our tools to practice this art of slow stitching around the table with the friendliest folks around!
